If you don't mind wading in frigid water for a few hours, you can make a shot in the lush and beautiful Oneonta Gorge. This was the shoot where I ultimately learned about the incredible adaptability of the human body, as after a minute, I really did become numb to it. What seemed unbearable in the first five seconds, later seemed quite refreshing and invigorating.
